The New KIP is "Official" March 1, 2010

At long last, the migration is coming to an end. If all goes well, the final touches will successfully conclude in the coming weeks. We plan to move to the new framework at http://www.lib.usf.edu/karst-test/ and "close-down" this version. We will zip this site and archive it should we need to access it in the future.

Responding to patterns of use and to changes in project priorities, we are emphasizing the digital library characteristics of KIP and introducing improved search tools, record exports, saved searches, and more. The new home will occupy the same URL as the present version (www.karstportal.org), so bookmarks need not change. Registered user accounts will be migrated, so no one will need to register at the new home.
